We called Rosa one day while driving through the mountains of Colorado, 30 weeks pregnant, and feeling unsure of how to prepare for the birthing process to come. Not only did Rosa meet with us for in depth birth education classes, she provided us with so much information on preparing my body for the process, including a nightly meditation by her that I truly believe helped my body prepare to go into labor in a smooth, natural way. I felt physically ready for birth, even though it was something my body had never experienced. I truly believe that my smooth labor can be heavily credited to the way that Rosa was able to share her knowledge and experience that helped prepare me for that moment. Not only was she present to guide and support us during my labor, she was attentive in the postpartum period. She physically supported me in a postpartum massage, yoni steam session, and even brought a nourishing meal to the house. It was more than I could have asked for. I love her nurturing, calm, and kind presence, and cannot wait to have her attend my next birth.
